Deliberate

員工的生理和心理健康同樣重要。漢莎航空公司客機墜毀，懷疑副機師故意（deliberately）使客機急降。機師每年接受身體健康檢查，卻不包括心理質素評估。

Deliberate是形容詞，加-ly又可用作副詞，都是解「蓄意的、故意的」，即是「有意圖或計劃的，並非意外」。寫作時，若要多次說「蓄意的」，除了用deliberate，可以用intentional（有意圖的）和planned（有計劃的）。例句：The co-pilot had locked the pilot out of the cockpit and deliberately crashed the plane.（副機師將正機師鎖於駕駛艙外，然後故意墜毀飛機。）

Deliberate常配act，例如a deliberate act of mass destruction（故意大肆破壞）、a deliberate act of dishonesty（故意欺騙）、a deliberate act of disinformation（故意造謠）等。

Deliberate亦可用作動詞，指「仔細考慮、商議」。要說明商議甚麼，可以後加介詞on、about或over。例句：I don't want to deliberate any longer on this issue.（我不想再商議這個問題了。）
